Looking for one of these as a christmas present - anybody have any suggestions as to a good sturdy one at a reasonable price? Its for home use.

My Dad swears by his pasta machine, it's all we ever eat when I visit. It's the Gino D'Acampo one, should be pretty reasonably priced as it's a tv chef one.

For home use any of the <£40 ones is ideal. I have one of these:

However, few words of advice from experience.

Get a 2" decorators brush to clean it with. Never ever get it wet. Never try to wash it. Dry brush only! If you don't do the above and you think you can fix it by taking it apart, don't. Just buy another one!
