Mine has to be when I did my first oil change on my E Class...

I started by removing the oil filter located on top of the engine so that when I got underneath the car and removed the drain plug, it would flow out quicker.

As i got underneath the car I realised that I didn't have quite enough wriggle room to get where I needed to be.

My genious idea was to raise the car slightly using the factory air suspension. So I got in the car, switched it to ACC, pressed the 'lift' button, nothing happened. Moved the key to IGN...still no sign of the suspension going up. Finally I started the engine!

Queue a rather large fountain of oil shooting out the front of the car. It completely covered my entire engine in oil (including my new accessory belt and supercharger belt), covered the driveway, neighbours driveway and also the neighbours car.

oops!

I've only done one oil change, and it didn't go too badly, although I forgot that once it starts pouring out, it will drip out. About a litre went all over the drive.

Refitting front brake calipers wrong side and upside down, not realising until trying to bleed the system, when the penny the size of a bus dropped on my head.
Long time ago, and never repeated.
