Insurance with good introductory NCB needed

Due to being buggered around by wewantanycar.com (rant heading this way in a separate thread) I need to insure my new car as well as my old one. New one collected yesterday on a 7 day cover note, but will need to provide my own cover from Saturday.

Can anyone recommend an insurer that will look sympathetically at providing affordable cover without an available NCB?
