Doing a bit a refurb and changing my rotten downlinks for nice new Leven ones. Whilst I'm at it I've resprayed the roll bars and ordered some new poly bushes for the ARB mounts.

From my reading I surmised that the front ARB was 22mm and the rear 19mm. However having tried to fit the new polybushes it appears that my ARB's are significantly thicker -the front is approx 24/25mm and the rear 22/23mm.

I've found some mention of "uprated sports Anti roll-bars" being fitted to some Chims and Griffs - do you think this is the case for my car?

Is this particularly unusual or one of the mods made to later cars (mine is a '98 450)

I just bought a 25mm front ARB, it has original TVR stickers on it, I understand the bigger ARBs were an option, never standard. Now, where do I get the bigger rear ARB!

Less body roll in the corners, i.e. more stable cornering, supposedly, I guess I'll find out

There is some objection against them IIRC - something along the lines that they actually oppose the principle of how suspension is supposed works, or something..?

Anyone?
