Just interested to hear if anyone has one, what your experiences are, pros, cons etc?

Interesting looking car, 99g/km emissions and apparently ok to drive. I have the usual fears of build quality and reliability but might give it a shot. Will only have it for 1 year, but can get it for a cracking price.

So, should I.....?

My wife has the hdi 90 bhp. Nice car, cheap to run, drives well. Had it 18 months and its been 100% reliable so far.

Can't comment on the ownership experience of the diesel variant but my wife has a petrol (1.6 Vti) DStyle Plus.

Nice enough to drive, for what it is anyway, although the steering is extremely light and not exactly brimming with feel. Ride is firm but comfortable - wife's car has the 17" 'Bellone' alloys - but there's quite a bit of tyre noise from the Bridgestones. Economy wise, it appears to be averaging 38 mpg but this is all town/city stop-start driving, it rarely sees a motorway. Also, it only has 1100 miles on it so I'd expect a little improvement after another few thousand miles. Naturally, the diesel will be significantly more efficient, at least it should be. No quality issues of note (yet) however one of the dash buttons got stuck in within the first couple of weeks but it was promptly replaced by the dealer.

I understand you're initial concerns (I wasn't too sure either at first...) but you may find yourself pleasantly surprised with how well put together they feel.

Thanks for the replies, appreciate it and would like to hear from any others too...

I can get the DS3 110hdi DSport, so I think it's pretty well spec'd - aircon, cruise, bluetooth, 17" wheels, etc. It's a pool car from work (someone left, so gave it back), that's only done 3k miles in 6 months, fully maintained and insured for £200 a month all in (plus fuel).

I'd be silly not to....right? Will only have it for a year so it's not like I'm stuck with it if I don't get along with it.
