Can you tell me what this mounting hole is used for? on a chimeara chassis the body shell covers it over? Is it used for a roll cage fixing or something else on the griff?

no , the arrow goes a bit futher , He means the hump on the outrigger.

The hump bracket is for the seatbelt in the earlier cars. Mine fit there and I don't have the other one. They put both on the interim cars.

Brill, thanks, that explains it. So could be used as an additional roll bar fixing if necessary, in addition to the body fixing plate.
