2012 Audi Q7 - 5,088mm long / 1,984mm wide.
1959 Austin Mini - 3,054mm long / 1,398mm wide.

So yes smile

Are SMALL modern cars bigger than BIG classic cars would seem a more interesting question...

2012 VW Polo - 3,970mm long / 1,682mm wide
2012 VW Golf - 4,213mm long / 1,786mm wide
1972 Triumph 2.5PI - 4,629mm long / 1,651mm wide

About the same - length-wise new, small cars are still smaller than old, big cars but when it comes to width the old, big are smaller than the new, small ones.

This thread needs some inflated figures and complex maths in order to avoid any semblence of entertainment.

the thread title's not right is it - surely a big modern car is bigger than a small modern or small classic car confused

I'll see if I can get 300bhp/ton over to sort this for you hehe

No. It's just all the old cars have shrunk in the rain.

1955 FIAT 600 3286mm
2013 RR Phantom 5834mm
so I suppose the answer is yes.

How does a Bugatti Royale measure up against a Toyota Aygo? I'm betting those figures will show that cars have got significantly smaller tongue out

Ah but the Bugatti Royale is not a small classic car and the Toyota Aygo is not a big modern car so that comparison is not for this thread.

This has to be one of the daftest threads on a car enthusiasts web site.

I'm absolutely livid about this.

The Airchamber I keep my 1960 Mini in just won't accommodate my modern Range Rover.

We're all going to hell. In a bloody HANDCART.
