Roock 993 RS 500 Wheels. Any value?

So I finally got round to removing my friends wheels on his 993. He wants some winter wheels but still trying to work out what offset he needs as despite advice from various sources, all the info I'm getting is different on the rear offset.
Anyway... I cant seem to find any info on his wheels. They stick out too far on his narrow body car so once he has his winter wheels on I'm going to refurb these and sell them and get some slightly narrower wheels for him.
Anyone know anything about them?
On the inside is stamped the following info:
Roock 993 RS 550
Ronal 014 0004
Rear are 18x10j ET50
Front are 18x9j ET50
Also... does anyone else have any words of wisdom on what 17" cup 2 wheels are needed?
I've seen some that are 7" wide fronts ET55 and 9" wide rears ET70. Some say thats fine, others say it should be ET 52 rear?
