Ipad Mini availability in Glasgow

[Craigie]

Have been tasked with buying 2 of these for a relative in Abu Dhabi whose mother in law is heading out there next week.

Apple store doesn't have any and don't know when coming back in.
John Lewis don't have any and say they only get them when Apple decide to give them some.
PCWorld / Currys advise don't have any and can't even order any!

So anyone any experience of buying these in Glasgow and know if still in stock?

Nowhere has stock - or has had any for two weeks or more.
You need to order from the online Apple Store and wait 2 weeks for dispatch - they quote about 16 days from order to delivery.

Only option of getting it in a week is to pay over the odds on ebay.

I bought one from Breahead Apple a few weeks ago. I called up and they had one left. . . when I got down there and bought it somebody else also had just been offered the 'last one'. . . strange.

It does seem true, they tend not to know whats coming and when. . .
