I was attempting to explain the very clear rules of motability to tonker when I discovered I'd been banned for 7 days. What have I done to earn a 7 day ban? Considering what the PH senior management let others get away with I find it quite incredible.

Interesting question. Whilst I generally hold different views to those of Martin84 expresses I have seen no suggestion of inappropriate activity that might incur a ban. Doubtless PH have their reasons. I look forward to the response from PH.

It's not WHAT you say it's the WAY you say it, suggest you read the emails that were sent and take heed of what was stated in those.

I think you'll find that an explanation is requested (or even, demanded), not required.

As far as I can see you had a post removed from the "Tax crackdown on rich announced by Danny Alexander"

I suggest you look for a mail associated with that thread, that will explain why the post was removed.

Don't understand why you would have received a deletion mail for a different thread, I'll have to get that checked out if need be.

The email about the Bercow thread is a week old and I don't know what on earth was deleted in that thread. Todays emails went into my Junk folder which is very fitting for PH. They don't explain what I've done wrong in the slightest.

Martin84 is the last person I would have expected to be banned. We have views that are total opposites and disagree on many subjects, but I have never seen him be abusive not even mildly.


PH does the strangest things sometimes.

From what I can ascertain it's not the first time you have received emails of a similar nature.

I think if you had left the "if" out of the above sentence it would be a little more accurate IMHO, but I'd never use that particular word on any forum as I and I would assume many other members would find it very offensive/abusive, you however appear not to.

So for future reference if you use that particular word against any member in future don't expect it to be overlooked and be prepared for any fallout resulting from it's use.
