Candied oranges or lemons.

A different desert for boxing day is needed.
So I fancy making a candied half orange or half lemon with a chocolate filling. BUT! I cant find any candied fruit only slices, so I will try making my own.
Has anyone on here ever made them, or know where I can buy them, please.

You need to cook the oranges in a stock syrup. So sugar and water, 1 part sugar to .75 parts water.

Loads of recipes online for candied fruit peel but this http://www.sofeminine.co.uk/guide/food/f16634-how-... was the only one I could find for whole or chopped fruit. A few typos in it but it should work. let us know how it goes.
