Hi All

I've recently purchased BF3 and Borderlands 2, but I can't get enthused about them. The last game that I truly enjoyed and completed all the way through was Deux Ex:Human Revolution. I just loved the perfect combination of sneaking around, great atmosphere, and great none-lethal takedowns. Reasonably good story too with the ability to develop your character and buy add-ons etc.

Before that, I played and thoroughly enjoyed Metal Gear Solid 4. For the same reasons.

Is there anything similar that I'm missing? Running around like crazy shooting things without thinking doesn't really do it for me. On PS3 please.

Splinter Cell.

Not so much the last one, 'Conviction', as I felt that it forced the player into combat sometimes, but 'Chaos Theory' was very good.

Can you play PS2 games on a PS3? If so Hitman: Blood Money is one of the best stealth games ever made (I'm told the new one isn't as good).

Ive not had chance to play any yet, but I think the Ghost Warrior series are sniper based and have lots of creeping about.

Splinter cell is great though.

The Batman arkham games maybe a good shout for you. They aren't all about the stealth but the stealth sections are great fun, hiding and taking out enemies tactically. You can also do the stealth bits as separate challenge maps out of the main game. The game is split between stealth and beating enemies to a pulp, both very satisfying!

Arkham asylum should be only pennies now and I think I prefer it to the later arkham city, both are some of my top games of the last decade. I'm not even a batman fan...

Dishonoured is a very stealthy game, how you complete each level in relation to kills etc has a direct impact on the outcome of the game.

Sorry, didn't mean to be dismissive. I played the first one I think, years ago, on the PS1. I'll keep my eyes open for the collection and if it's cheap enough...

Played and completed both the Batman games - both of them excellent. Some of the scenes where you have ten guys in a room that you have to take out individually, really atmospheric.

I'm going to pick up Dishonored too, despite it's lukewarm reception.

Cheers chaps.
