Glass's VS Cap

Sorry If this has been covered before (I did do a search).

Why is there such a large difference in the private sale price on Glass's and CAP? My Car is valued at 1K more on Glass's then CAP (In fact this is the same for the PX value also).

Many in the motor trade ask the same question. In my experience CAP is by far the most likely to be accurate.

If I was being a cynic I'd say that dealers would give you CAP money for your car and then sell you one based on glasses.

That's what I'd do anyway...
