One-way car rental recommendations

I need to book a car from on the 29th December for just one day, driving from Pembroke (Haverfordwest) to Heathrow airport.

Can anyone recommend any reasonable car rental places that offer this for under £70?

All of the major companies will do this. I'm not sure about the cost. You'll probably need to pick up a car from Pembroke Dock. Silcox have a Europcar franchise there, and might be worth talking to.

If a direct approach is too expensive, try a broker: carhire3000 are pretty cheap.

I use Avis for this regularly and am charged £30 for the one way trip on top of the hire charge.

Ta. Tried carhire3000 and I've been quoted just under £42 for a return charge. Is that about right?

Sound pretty good to me. I worked in daily rental for several years, and doubt if I could get a better deal than that now.

Will book that then, cheers. £76 all in for a Corsa isn't so bad I suppose. Just hoping it's diesel as it's all motorway miles....
