From a previous thread. I know it's for a 4S but I used the same method to get my 5 to pair

For anyone still having problems this is how to do it (I was using an iphone 4S on a 2006 Vantage):-
Put the iphone Bluetooth into search mode.
Tell the car - Pair phone
Car tells you to put phone into search mode and then type 1 2 3 4 as the bluetooth code.
Phone will see the car - will list as Aston Martin. Put code in
It will then fail! Car says pairing failed.
But you now have the iphone recognising the Aston Martin bluetooth, so on the phone, select "Aston Martin" on the bluetooth menu. It will bring up the boxes to put in the passcode. Put in 1 2 3 4, but do NOT press pair on the phone yet.
Tell the car - pair phone. Then immediatley press the Pair button (top right) on the phone.
Should then pair straght away.
Have checked and phone is always then recognised on startup

Very helpful. How do you tell the car to pair phone?

I don't have my manual to hand but would like to get the phone paired before a long drive tomorrow!

Thats how i did mine on MY07 V8V

The wife says..

.... put it in the corner of your garage, tell it to bend over, give it one last chance to pair, and if it doesnt do as you say, spank it with some crystal rock wax.... If it still doesnt listen, you could take it one step further and threaten to play with its tailpipes whilst dressed in chamois leather!

I know.... I have told her to stop reading those shades of sh*t!

I'd just like to add my thanks for posting this.

The procedure described above worked immediately, pairing my 2006 V8V and iPhone 5 after loads of other attempts.

Bravo, that man.

I have tried all the above with my new i-phone 5 (the old got stolen so I have had one paired successfully ) and it simply does not want to pair up. Neither here or in our Range Rover. Help....

If the new phone has the same "name" as the old one, the cars get confused. You need to delete the phone registered on both cars and then pair them again. Had same issue with replacement phone but this sorted it.

Resurrecting this thread to confirm or otherwise if anyone has successfully pared an iphone 5S to a V12V or 2010 Vantage onwards?

My iphone 4 has never pared to my V12V and I'm using an old Sony Erikson W880 as a tracker fob currently, but I'm upgrading my 4 to a 5S shortly.

Cheers - Phil

Hi Phil, I have a iPhone 5 and have no problem either paring or charging. Just use the iPhone adapter to connect.

There's no reason why your 4 won't work - but if that doesn't I doubt a 5 or 5s will. I'd try again with your 4
