On sale 28 Dec - looks like a FlipFlop Yellow Griff with black int./estorils is to be featured in article - anyone on here ? FFG - your wheels aren't estorils are they?

What's the inside story here then? Will the Griff get a decent road test or is it just another buying guide?

Just read my copy - 2 page 'Buying Guide' featuring 'L855APJ' - thought it could have been a bit more positive/less scaremongering in the overall perspective but i supposer it is a buying guide...

I like the conclusion finishing with 'The noise and performance of a well sorted Griffith are seriously addicitive...... and you'll wonder why you didn't buy one before'.

The problem is these guides are usually written by someone who doesn't own one and they don't really talk to many owners and just regurgitate the usual stuff.

When my car was in a TVR feature in C&SC a few years back they actually asked and printed our owner experiences and advice so it was a little bit more than the usual it 'breaks down, costs a fortune to run and tries to kill you on a regular basis'.

To be fair, it's a decent write up. Thumbs up for the Griff. There's nothing derogatory, just an honest view from a journalist who evidently thinks the Griff is a top car overall.
