No, not that Bristol mini-meet VI

I vote for another pub run. Next Wednesday would do, but I appreciate more notice may be needed.

OK. I'll have to bring the S4 because I 've wrecked the gearbox on the TR (trying to keep up with Daz I expect - ) and the Quattro's boiler certificate has expired.

I'd love to come along, but I'm in London on Wednesday. Someone should give Silverback Mike a prod...

But none of us wants to be charged with "prodding a police officer"...

Actually hasn't Mechsympathy already prodded him? Or is that you. Anyway, he's a professional prodder, so leave it to him.

I've decided the TR6 can live without synchromesh for a while longer so that might be an incentive for him to come along...

Pleasure to be prodded chaps however my shifts mean I have to work on the 8th which is a shame. And yes, Bill (Mechsympathy) gave me a good prodding.

My rest days are....14th, 15th. My son's birthday on the 16th so that messes that one up.

Later on in the month my rest days are 25th, 26th and 27th...

Maybe we can have a gathering later on. It would be good to meet up. I will see if I can bring 'numbnuts' along as he is always up for a beer (barrel). Besides that he is a damn good mechanic so is a font of all knowledge.

Yertis - I have a desperate desire to look at a TR6 as Mrs Silverback has now been finally ground down to accept the fact that in the fullness of time there will either be a TR6 or a TVR in the garage. She's not all bad.

I can't come now - a "Wife Command" has been issued and as anyone who has a wife knows, these particular orders are best obeyed (in othjer words she'd already organised something and I'd not checked the diary).

See you chaps next time.

Would the 15th be a better bet, as more folk seem to be available?
