Hi there, I've been looking all over the web and can't find a solution to my problem, basically the heater in my mk1 mx5 is playing up. Hardly any air is coming out of the vents and is instead coming out of the passenger footwell. Does anyone know what the issue could be and if there's an easy way to fix it? Hopefully a way of fixing it that a simpleton like me could do.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks in advance

There's a lever in the middle of the dash. It will be set on the picture with the arrow pointing at the bottom of the seat...slide all the way to the left to where the arrow points to the middle and top of seat.

If you don't have air con there is a big plastic pipe that links the fan to the distribution pipework, this is in the passenger foot well and so has probably come loose.

Mine doesn't suffer this issue.

As others have said, you'll find the pipe has come loose in the passengers footwell and you'll need to plug it back in or replace/repair if its damaged.

Pretty easy job to do, it was one I looked at when investigating why my heater wasn't very hot. My pipe had come loose a bit but wasn't the issue. (Clogged up heater matrix was my problem)
