Tyre recommendations?

Fitted Michelin Pilot super sports all round on DB9. No complaints about them but still get wheels spinning very easy when cold. But once warmed I think I'm carrying more speed in corners so must be more grip. Article in TrackDriver of Pirelli P Zero Silvers... Plus a new more track focused Pirelli. I had wanted to try Corsa but couldn't find the right sizes.

I fitted Michelin Pilot Super Sports a couple of months ago.
They're a very good tyre. Superior to the Bridgestones on noise, harshness, grip and general handling.
They're more expensive (5%-10% when I was looking). And the jury is still out on how long they will last. Logic suggests that they must wear out quicker, but will see.
If the extra cash and potentially lower longevity is not a problem, I wholeheartedly recommend them.
I'd done 45k on Bridgestones on the Aston (couple of sets) and wasn't especially convinced they needed improving on. But the Michelins are a lot better.
btw, different brands front and rear isn't a major issue (though I swapped all mine out so that I could compare and contrast better). Different tyres (make or model of tyre) is a big no no).

On a related note - I managed to somehow drive over a screw and so need a new rear left corner. I'll replace both rears at the same time (with the standard Potenza RE050As that I'm perfectly happy with) as the right one is almost out anyway but I now have the issue of not being able to drive it anywhere as the tyre is almost completely flat. There's a garage at the end of my road, are there any issues with getting someone other than AM to replace the tyres? I'm specifically asking with regard to the TPMS and the pressure sensors built into the wheels...

I just had my winter tyres fitted by my local guys and they did a great job. TPMS etc.. all working.
Just tell them to be careful when levering the tryes off so they dont break the sensors. So many modern cars have them nowadays its almost second nature for a decent tyre house anyway.
Just for info, I had a new set of Sottozero winter tyres put on and the ride is so much smoother and more quiet than the Potenzas!
