Quiet Caribbean

The last time we went to the Caribbean, we stayed in Jost Van Dyke, it was perfect. I am trying to find somewhere similar. Looking for beautiful beaches, simple accommodation, ramshackle beach bars, no resorts or large hotels if possible. Nearby village with 3 or 4 restaurants and a few bars.
I've looked at Abaco in the Bahamas and it seems to match some of our requirements.
Anyone have any recommendations?

Spent a few weeks in Bequia a couple of years ago, it was vey much like you describe.
Not sure if it's become busier in the interim, certainly worth a look.
