Hi all
I'm looking to try and trace a particular number plate that I'd like to buy. It's showing up as insured on ask mid as covered(naughty I know).

So, I'm thinking of writing to the DVLA to get the address of the RK so I can write to see if they'd sell me the plate/ car.

I'm guessing this is not a valid reason for the DVLA to disclose such data? If not, what is?

Just tell the DVLA you are a dodgy parking enforcement company prone to bully boy tactics and extortion. They should send it you by return.

Personally I have got the info after my parked car was hit in a car park and the Police weren't interested nor were my insurance Co. as it was private land.

BUT the form was very specific that it was an offence lie about the reason.
