Crashed my S2 devastated (bonnet needed)

Hi Guys,

has anyone got or know of anyone selling a bonnet?

Just lost the back end on a roundabout and ripped off the bonnet, smashed the steering and damaged a few other bits. Fortunately theres no chassis damage!

Karl - bugger! Glad you're OK and the car isn't too bad.

Can't help with the bonnet but might be worth clarifying if you're looking for an S4 style bonnet or any bonnet.

Spotted the foglight pod and saw on your profile it is (was-ouch!) an S4 one.

Yes was an S4 bonnet but any bonnet will do. Absolutely devastated!

Those TVR Dean, breakers would be close to you, they did have an advert on internet with an S series, all parts available. Could be flea bay or pistonheads classified, may be worth a look!

Don't think I have ever seen such a comprehensively destroyed bonnet, those side vents on the S4 bonnet take a lot of strength out of it. Hopefully not too difficult or expensive too fix if the chassis is ok.

Hi Karl, what a mess !

got a "spare" S3 bonnet (no driving lamp pods), very slight damage and its red!

Can't put a picture up as home computer in for maintainance, PM me if interested, can pick that up here on work computer.

Hi Karl,
Seeing that really made my heart sink, it must be devastating.
However it could have been a lot worse, at least you're ok, & it should be repairable.
Hope it's all sorted quickly and you're back again soon.

The insurance assessor will be out tomorrow so hopefully things will start moving very soon. I've hopefully got a few parts lined up and I should be back on the road before Christmas

It looks repairable so don’t get rail-roaded in to a write off or Cat C. Hold out for a repair. You may have to accept a reduced payout but it’s worth it. If you want a new bonnet, TET Mouldings do them – at a price!
