Thrustmaster Ferrari 458 PC/Xbox 360 Wheel, worth it?

I don't really sit down and play games very often, but I quite fancy a wheel for those times that I do. I had a cracking Gamester Dual Force wheel for PlayStation back in the day and a Thrustmaster Ferrari 360Spider wheel for PC, which was great for Need For Speed Porsche Unleashed etc, it stopped working properly after a while though.

Now I want something that works on both, the 458 wheel looks nice and can be had cheaply. It doesn't have force feedback in the wheel though, is this going to annoy me?

I had one of the cheap thrustmaster wheels without force feedback and it was much better than playing with a controller and the shape was quite good. Haven't tried force feedback yet though so can't compare.

I noticed this today at a much lower price than I usually see them, might be of interest. Logitech G27 £159.99 PC world finishes Monday.

That would be excellent, but I feel it'd be wasted on me, I bought Forza Horizon in its first week, but I've only played it twice... £40 well spent. Doesn't work with Xbox either.

Looking into some of the things you can buy, entire stations, seats and stuff to 'dock' your wheel and pedals etc to, I'm starting to regret choosing the smallest room in the house when we moved four years ago.

Seems this thing should do, slightly concerned about things I'm reading about durability, but I'm assuming these are from abusive little kids with no value of money...
