Yet ANOTHER car....
Discussion
Well.
Decided that the Fiesta RS1800 track car has to go as it is wrong-wheel-drive. She, Team MILF person, now has a Supra road car, so it is time for a RWD.
Sooo, as usual, up north to buy a (cheaper) car.
A Midget 1500 (not for long) with 5 speed conversion and rear tele conversion. We went to watch a few stages of the RAC, then drove it the 300 odd miles home. All in all did 550 miles and used a little over 55 litres of petrol. Makes the R/Rover and Lotus look a tad thirsty! The 5th gear allowed 75/80 mph cruise too.
Very good little car even if it pulls to the right under acelleration and left on lift off... must check the rear suspension.
So, plans include removal of rubber bumpers, decent seats etc, roll bar, Ashley conversion, better brakes etc. Engine? S2000 is favourite at the mo'. 250bhp and 700kg OH YES!
Anyone want the fiesta?
