Right.
Neils patented tram shift Super T10 is ready to roll...Bit of tidying up to do!!! and a nice big gaiter to hide it all
Contrary to what it looks like it now actually feels OK and falls to hand nicely....Some re-thinking and re-engineering required over winter..but good enough for the shakedown.

Oh and its Movember

The problem I have is that the Box came fully re-built as a H/D Close ratio Unit. The Clutch actually has Chevy output Splines and chevy clutch plate But it isn't a Fabled Muncie M22. The box also came with a lovely Tex Racing Aluminium Tail extension but not the shift kit. I ended up making a bracket to get the shifter in using some existing Shift linkages I had donated.
Ordinarily I would have been in touch with Tex Racing but I believe he sold the business and the new company diversified away from racing transmissions.. Hence lovely Magnesium tailshaft but not the rest.
The job over the winter will be to fabricate a new bracket to move the shifter closer to the bellhousing then to make up some shorter linkages.
The current cobbled up affair looks terrible but won't look so bad after George the demon shaper works his magic and the tunnel cover and gater is installed It also shifts very nicely, Including reverse!!

I have been looking at a few racing griff pictures which also show some pretty wild shifters...Not as wild as the Tram special though

Nice! That's very similar to what I have in mind, for my own car. For now, I'm doing it "Neil style."
Neil, I completely understand. The mid-shift relocation kit for my TR3550 is up to a cool $500. For now, I need it to work. Working well is for later. Working perfectly is for further down the road.
Best,

It is looking close now by the looks of it and looking good to boot. Not sure about ply wood although i'm bias towards Carbon or glasss fibre sprayed satin black.Just to check the little red button on the steering wheel is the NOS switch

PS why have the extra weight of door rubbers
