104 on the A46 help

my work mate as just been pulled doing 104 on the a46 in Lincoln the officer said that he as videoed him at 104 and was going to report him for that speed but did not show him the video then give him a producer for his driving license ect and that was it he went down to the cop shop no problems there but took his producer off him? and that was it. what happens now?
Did the officer give your mate a verbal NOIP?

If so, expect summons in the post soon, go to court, take it like a man, drive slower next time
The producer is just an extra document check, nothing to do with the speeding. Although if he had been going a bit slower and got a Fixed Penalty Ticket for the speeding(£60 plus 3 points), the producer is included on the ticket.
