I've been on the road in my 1300 X-flow Geep for a fortnight now and was wondering if there are any more in my area which is Lanarkshire in Scotland.

I'm not a member of the SKCC yet though I did get my Jago thanks to an ad I posted on their notice board. Your Geep looks great- same colour as mine but mine is just on 13" wheels, something I hope to remedy sometime. I've got pictures of mine on a website but my reading of the forum rules is that you don't post links to your own site.
Hope to see your car in the flesh, as it were, sometime. Cheers,
Gregor

Sounds good, but see "throttle cable" thread: my cable is patched just now so I don't want to go too far.. Hopefully I'll get it sorted soon.
By the way, if you hear of anyone locally with 14" wheels for sale, I'm interested.
Cheers,
Gregor

Hi Boys
I am Scottish but now live in Northumberland.
I would like to meet with any Jago members from "Caledonia" I haven't had mine long and made enquiries re - joining the Jago club - but it seems to be falling apart. Is there a Scottish equivalent??

Not that it may be any of my business but as such the Jago Owners Club is not necessarily falling a part.
Yes I am leaving the club and I did hold quite a few of the committee positions. But just because one person is leaving does not mean the club needs to go to the wall.
Surely there must be members old or new that can take on the posts I am vacating.
From what I have read in some of the threads on this and the Jago yahoo forum the club could in effect be on the verge of a revival regards the social activities enjoyed by the membership.

Yes if any one in the past few months has requested a membership pack due to an interest in joining the club the committee list looks sparse (hence the need for folks to step forwards, we have possibly got a new technical secretary). And yes I have included a letter informing the prospective member of my position regards leaving at the end of the year. The reason I put in about the club future possibly being in doubt is that the club needs the committee positions filling to run properly. It would have been unfair on anyone thinking of joining the club to not be informed of the current situation.

The club magazine is also overdue regards the August issue but this is not my department so I can not comment on why this is the case.

So it is up to you the membership to rally around and get the committee positions filled and keep what is a great club going. The positions that need filling are listed on a thread on this forum.

Best wishes for a bright future.

I can strongly recommend the Jago Owners Club. I saved most of the membership fee on an insurance discount and have had a lot of advice from members through the net.
I thought it was £15 to join the SKCC. Is there an offer on?

Yes you only pay half, well because half of the year has gone we would not want any one to pay for the half that's all ready gone fare is fare and most clubs get insurance discount in clouding skcc but I can at least get to the monthly meetings they are not all down in England.

What are the specs of the northern cars, then? Mine's a 1300 crossflow with 13" wheels, old-style bird cage soft top, no creature comforts such as a heater. Built-in idiot grin for the driver, though.
