T350/Sagaris fuel tank
Discussion
Guys I'm embarking on a project and require a T350 or Sagaris fuel tank.
I've tried all the usual retail outlets, salvage merchants etc.
It's a long shot but does anyone have one tucked away they wish to sell?
Failing that I have found a company ( rad tech) that will fabricate me a tank but they need
A tank to use as a template, so once again if someone has one that I can use as a template
I'd be very grateful.

Ring Craig at TrackVRoad - he has my tank out at the moment having baffles/foam inserted and a bad seal fixed... I'm sure he'll send you photo's and dimensions, or his welder/fabricator could probably make you one for a small fee
That's very kind sir, I spoke with someone today that has a tank that can be used as a template.
I'll follow that route but will phone Trackvroad tomorrow just in case.

so what is the difference, I know the t350 runs on 2 fuel pumps, but is there any exterior difference?
T350 wraps around with the pumps set lower in a scavenge well, rather than just a slab like the sag. Also the two pumps being at either side make the special fuel cap arrangement .
Sag suffer for this with cost savings
Had planned to put two pumps in mine, but leaving external profile same- just too busy

Please bear with me as I'm a Cerbera sp 6 owner embarking on a project.
Why would a T350 need twin pumps? Why does the sag suffer only having one?
The Cerb runs on one external pump and doesn't faulter.
Is there and external dimensional differences between the Sag & T 350 tank?

Not sure why it would need two - I know mine has three though and a fuel swirl pot.Why would a T350 need twin pumps? Why does the sag suffer only having one?

The Sag fuel tank is a very simple flat bottomed oblong box, with a single fuel pump pick up on the driver's side, and a single baffle plate about 3-inches off the bottom of the tank, providing little, if any restriction to fuel flow when going round corners.
As a result, when pressing on on track days, expecially with less than 1/4 tank, you can get fuel starvation due to all the fuel being at the opposite side of the tank than the single fuel pump. This can be detrimental to the health of your lovely Speed6 engine.

Only has to run very lean for an instant at high revs for detonation to start melting pistons, whereas my T350 has run as little as 3 litres in tank on high-g corners in sprints with no probs.Gassing Station | Tamora, T350 & Sagaris | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
