With respect, I think you've underestimated the time it takes to sell the car. Yes, you could get lucky and sell it 5mins, but more likely - as it's a common car with no history- you'll have it for months. Not even mentioning that this time of year is worse for sellers.

Having said all that(!) there is no harm in advertising it, make sure you write an accurate description and take proper photos. I've found gumtree quite good although others may disagree!

As for pricing, find a similar car advertised and price match - or undercut slightly.

take a weekend and give the car a good clean and wax and valet. Take it to a park or posh street and take as many photographs as you can and list it

Don't take photos at on the sea front, people may think sea = salt = rust.
