Evo 2 AMG

My friend had an Evo 2 with an AMG (as in Mercedes tuning house) rocker cover, anyone know anything about this odd mix of companies?

Weirdly that isnt the first time Ive heard of AMG doing something with the early evos. I think back in that time they weren't owned by Mercedes.

Seen a few of those, mostly just cosmetics AFAIK but some of them might have had a bit more tweakery.

Galant VR4s shared the 4G63 with the Evos for a while too.
