Greek taxi

Not sure if this has been posted here before, a Greek taxi driver who owns a 2003 (!!) w211 e270 CDI with more then a million KMs:

Not wanting to poo poo it but it's not that much really.

My 07 Merc has 430k on it, and 1 million KM is only 620k miles.

That is very clean though.

Very impressive IMO! Its rare to see a car reach a mileage that high, even a taxi. Nice to see the new Mercs can be made to last as well as the older ones.

Shame its a manual gearbox though

GTIR, yes your's is not far off, how has the interior trim held up?

va1o, What's surprising is it's a 2003,from what I've read the e211 before 2004/5 can be a bit ropey.

Been on Autotrader looking for high mile W211's, a few on sale with 200,000+ miles for £5-6000. Tempting to take a punt but I think wife would not be too happy with me giving up the VW with only 56k miles.
