Sir Chris Hoy announces Hoy Bikes

Is Hoy just lending his name to the bikes? Presumably he (unlike Boardman) doesn't have much experience in making and designing bikes?

Are they Evans own pinnacle bikes rebranded as "Hoy"?

Does seem like an odd decision, particularly as Pinnacle are just getting good in their own right..

That could be about as much input as "Yup, geo looks good, tubing is useful, looks good, got a couple of models? Brilliant.".

3 road bikes and 4 leisure/hybrids... a bit of a shame there is no track bike in there but at least he maintains some credibility by not including an mtb, guess they arent rebadged Pimnacles then....

the £500 boardman looks superb, Shimano 2300 and CXP rims!....

to be fair there are plenty of branded bikes over £500 that come with 2300
