anyone got a clue as to what the going rate is for someone to let a dog out for a run (no need to take him anywhere, huge garden space) just needs to be let out post lunchtime for 10 minutes. found someone in the same village, so no travelling required

cheers

Registered, or just "bloke from village"?

Some rates are here from previous discussion.

Can't help with an actual value - never been in the happy position of only needing their services for 10 minutes! wink

...I'd imagine most would have a minimum rate, though, to cover their basic business costs... possibly around £5?

Our dog walker charged £6 for a 30min visit to walk our pup. Given travel time and cost, I thought she should have charged more. Usually she charges £12 for a 45min walk with other dogs - far more profitable!

Think ours used to charge £7.50 for a 30 minute visit.

Now paying £10 for an hours walk (with or without other dogs).
