I've had a number of these units in the past, but lost interest in all things car audio related a while ago.

Are they still making new equipment, and if so are they available in the UK? Ideally i'm looing for a HU with iPod control and green illumination.

No, no longer making aftermarket audio. The only h/u's you'll get now will be used or new old stock if you're very lucky.
