Have you considered Knowler's ?
It looks like a nice example to me,
& he's gutted about having to sell.

Mike, in which ill-informed publication was that article printed?

Fun, reliable, 2 seater convertible, £5000 budget.....
It can only be either an S, or .......

another S!!!

And it's British!
Still one of motoring's best kept secrets.
No wonder the prices are so low, we need to get a new publicist.
S's are like the TSR-2, under the radar curtain.

The title's wrong on the piece. It should read 'Sensible buys for £5k, available easily for the budget and typically dull after the first 2 months of ownership. High scores in lacking originality, or unusual-ness, but really excel in sensibility'

Those with hairy chests and recognising the fun that comes from being involved in both driving and proper maintenance may want to read an alternative magazine, if you have time in your life for reading that is. More interesting stuff can only be found by listening out for it. You'll know when it passes at 105dB+ - but be in something quick when they pass - otherwise you wont catch it to buy it.

The cars listed are for the 'common' people, not for the connoisseurs!
