Does anyone know where to find up to date info on navigational rallying? (another thread or weblink) I'm interested in getting back into it, however apart from a few links on the RAC MSA website there isn't much I have found.
I'd like to use a classic car and compete in the South West or South of England if possible.

Have a look on the British Rally forum, or look for British Road Rallying on Facebook.
Or more specifically for classic rallying look up HRCR (Historic Rally Car register) on Google.
There is also a classic rally forum, called Classic rally chat, but It's gone very very quite these past few months.
On the more commercial (and expensive front) look for HERO or CRA, which organise such events as Rally of the Tests or LeJog.
The south is reasonably well served for classic events, but you would have to travel if you wanted to do one every couple of months.

The website is down Tony, has been for for about four months now. Some of the regulars are on a facebook group called Classic rally chat, if you do FB that is. If not they do (apparently) intend to bring the forum back, but I'm not holding my breath.
It's a shame because although I use BRF, I don't find the most harmoneuous forum in the world and CRC was very good for the historic events.
It frustrates me that there isn't a rallying forum on here, but that's obviously not going to change.

Go on the M and H Photography forum. By comparison with BRF, it:
- isn't heavily focused on the Welsh road rally scene
- isn't full of idiots
...but it doesn't have anywhere near the same number of users, meaning that you don't get to hear about as many events.
The PH club motorsport forum is 95% circuit racing really.

Which is a shame, Britian's biggest motoring website/forum (which even has resident rally drivers on the editorial team in the shape of Chris and Dan) has no rally forum. As a dyed in the wool rallyist I feel I'm in a motoring minority....interloper said:

Who do I write a strongly worded letter to? Seriously though, I think there are quite a few of us around on here. Rallying is struggling for numbers (Entrants, organisers and marshalls) so the exposure can only do the sport good.Gassing Station | UK Club Motorsport | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
