Back in the fold. And looking for a Cerb, but uncertain ??
Discussion
Good evening all. Some of you might remember Diane and I from our days at the Mid Essex region of the TVRCC.Where Diane was RO along with Pauline(yellow peril)We had a Midas gold T350C. We've not had a Tiv for over four years, and have been debating about getting one again. I've always wanted a cerb, but thought that one might be a bit tight in my garage due to the very long doors making it a job to get out of once in the garage. So i'm after a bit of a favour....Would a nice kind Cerb owner who possibly lives near me in Essex(great leighs)like to come to my house and see how it fits in my garage.I'll pay your fuel for your trouble.
Thanks in Advance...Dave

I remember you well Dave, not sure if you remember me but I had a Californian sage green Chimaera followed by a Cureton green Griff 500. Anyway have a Cerb now and would have loved to help but I literally Sorn'd her for the winter yesterday.
Hi Puffs back. Nice to know that you remember me.But i can't remember me as you aint told me who you are silly...Ooooop's I don't remember your cars either. Is the car in your garage? was it easy to get in/out of. If so what is your floor size?Dave
Well I would PM you but it won't let me because it says that you haven't set up your email address. However, you should be able to email me through pistonheads and if you let me know how to get in touch then I am sure we can arrange something.
I recently rejected a couple of houses my gf wanted to move into because the garage wasn't big enough for the Cerb and there is no substitute for trying it.

As above...I have had smallish garages before... I tend to reverse the cerb in, getting the near side of the car as close to the wall as possible. To get out of the car I slide the seat rigght back, wind the drivers window right down and then push the open door against the offside wall (with some carpet on it) and then shimmy out. Not too difficult even with an achey back.
