toy r888 tyre advise
Discussion
ok ive decided that im going to try the r888 this season, never used them before, im going for these due only to the overall diameter. im going for the 225/45/13 which gives me a diameter of 529mm.
if anyone knows a tyre as wide or wider with a lower diameter please let me no but it must be on the 1b list.
i cannot go any taller as these are 29mm taller than the tyres i use at the moment which are avon 20/9/13 slicks.
ok that aside there going on an all steel metro, weighs around 650kg. front wheel drive, about 170 bhp. i think the medium compond on the front. what do you think.
soft medium
hard
and oh yes 20 min races.

hello ive seen the khumo s and in an ideal world id go for these. but.
the rear of the metro can take a max diameter of 505 mm, which means the only tyre for the rear is a yoko a048r 175 50 13, which isnt quite wide enough but i have no other option, the 175 50 13 is no were near the wide i need at the front so im gonna have to mix tyres and the toyo r888 225 45 13 which is similar to the yoko. i cannot fo any taller than tis 529mm
