The raised 'knobles' in the grooves are tyre wear indicators, if the tread is above these, legal, once you get down to them it's time to replace them.

In the first image there are a number of horizontal bars that link the various vertical patterns. As I understand it these are the wear indicators, and as long as the tyre isn't worn down to any of them, you're legal. Obviously once it is, they start to wear too, so there has to be a significant difference.

The legal limit it 1.6mm tread depth across the central 3/4 of the tyre. That's well within legal limits.

Looks like over inflation, not that I'd know, but as it looks like a winter tyre wouldn't slight under inflation be better?

Oh, and you were too quick to quote me, you grabbed the typo before I changed it, now I'm going to get lambasted for being a fool hehe

It's legal.

There's more than 1.6mm of tread across 75% of the 'face', and no carcass showing.
