cars that don't "suit" you
Discussion
pointed out a picture of a DC5 integra type R to a member of staff as something i was looking at to be met with a puzzled look & a comment of "way too chav for you".
which may be a good thing but i was a bit crest fallen really.
had bmw's, porsches etc in the past.
but apparently i'm about 15 years to old for an integra
company director in a ricer?

Screw what other people think!!!
I find it amusing that people care too much about what others think especially when I'm asked to justify my choices to people who can't even justify their own choice of car beyond - "it's got a 58 number plate" or it's a "TDI so good on fuel." There is no point listening to the opinions of people who clearly think of a car as a measure of social status.
Oh and PH relevant, don't listen to anyone who describes a specific car as being chav!

I would have thought that anyone who liked cars enough to sign up to PH would not have been enough of a fashionista to care what other people thought about what their car "said" about them.

Sold the Z4M now & looking forward to buying something else soon!
Most people have a strange misconception about others' cars. Some of mine:
Highly modified Corsa 1.2 LS (aged 20) - when I say highly modified it looked the part but the engine was standard! Some middle aged blokes used to say it was a cool looking car, some 15 year olds said it was chav!
BMW E36 325i in Black - everything from drug dealer to family car
MR2 Rev 2 - Old shed to "is that a Ferrari"
Current 1998 Jaguar XJ8 3.2 Sport - I've been accused of being very flashy all the way to "you borrowed your grandads car today?"
Pretty much all of the above from people who know f
k all about cars. I don't care what they think.
