2001 Mk1 I removed the door card and retrimmed the door panel in Alcantara as the flock was nasty stuff that was a nightmare to keep clean. I'm not sure it is any different from the MK11 except later models had some leather trim along the top of the door panel, I bought these seperatley and had them retrimmed but I don't have any pictures.

Just spotted that the armrests etc look like they are bolted onto the backing plate which is great news.....thinking of getting the backing plates made in carbon fibre and then bolting the armrests etc back on...now wondering if the existing backing plates can be used directly as molds?

There was a guy in the Tamora forum who made his door panels in carbon fibre using the originals as molds his tamora was up for sale recently but he did have his own blog explaining what he did. I will try and find it and post a link here.
The blog entries are gone now or were last time I checked them which was a month or so back.http://www.night-spirit.co.uk/tamora_blog/

Quite a few people who can do this and may have already for the Tuscan.
OK - might start looking seriously into this then....priority will be on proper autoclaved lightweight but will compromise if this gets out of hand! Anybody else interested in this if I find a potential supplier? Will help to bring costs down as they'll be some set up costs I guess.
Also, don't suppose there is anyone with a Mk1 tuscan in the Harpenden/Herts area so we can compare door cards for applicability?

Looking at 3 things:
1) Insert in centre tunnel around handbrake/gearstick.....think this can be a flat C/F panel with appropriate cut-outs
2) Door cards....will be retaining the leather armrest and trim at the top, so just the backing plate plus the small enclosure that the window controls sit on, to be done in C/F. Hoping that existing items can be used as moulds as they are contoured/more complex shapes)
3) the panels below the quarterlights behind the seats (that hide the interia belts) in c/f. Think this is a flat(ish) panel but there is a lip at the top to meet with trim at bottom of quarterlights. May require a mould but don't think the existing panel can be used for this.
Will be talking with the guys who did my seats on approach and ballpark costs
