Ford Mondeo Ghia X 2.5 V6 - Talk to me

So following my recent car related disaster I have £1500 to spend on a winter snotter.

I've seen a few 2.5 V6 Mondeo Ghia X's in the price range with 60-90k on the clock.

Am I missing something? Whats the common faults? What are the big expensive jobs people avoid?

Oh, and if they are a ghiaX then they are four wheel drive right???

I had a '95 N Mondeo Ghia X. Was great but not AWD sorry.
