MCS windows/alarm/interior light problem

Got an MCS R53 2005.

Tonight, the passenger window started going up & down very slightly of its own accord. This then causes the alarm to go off when the doors have been locked. Also, whilst driving the interior light goes on & off at random as well as when stationary with the window going up & down. Plus we could smell burning.

I assume this is all linked?

Any ideas please?

Maybe a problem with the body module.

Thanks - where would I find that to check/replace it?

That lives in the passenger side foot well behind the plastic sill trim. Water sometimes runs down the cables on these into the module causing strange things to happen. I think the dealer fix was to put it in a plastic bag.

Sounds very similar to the issue I had with my R53 body module - sunroof and drivers side window opening and closing. Unit was replaced and put in a plastic bacg to stop water ingress, luckily all under warranty...
