Questions but no answers it appears.I have been told by the car club that my car had a ford tuned T/C engine from new and it's original colour was war dance. I didn't think they came from factory with twin cams fitted or have I got that wrong ? Would I be right it would have been a lotus unit from a cortina if it did ? What colour is war dance do you think ?

Years ago a friend of mine had a Hillman Imp and the paint colour for that was "war dance". It was orange.

using google it could have been Orange or a light metallic green as on an avenger so far in the search,did TVR buy job lots of paint from Ford or Triumph i wonder.

It did not say that it had been ORIGINALLY fitted with a T/C engine, just that it had been fitted with a T/C engine

Thank you Richard for looking up the history you hold on the car,my mistake,i did know it was fitted with a T/C as i gave you the engine number that related to it.
