What is the Speed limit over there? Also how, "hot", are they on speeders? Do they take your car and you, or is it just a fine, or do they ignore you?

Ah the UAE, where you run the risk of getting a speeding fine in a hire car, even if you weren't speeding. But try arguing it - no hope.
