Well 3 weeks of ownership and the cerbera won't fire up today :-( any things I can check myself? Turns over put there's either no spark or petrol thanks in advance bob

Is it possible you've flooded it, or is there not enough power to spin it fast enough to start , V8s take a bit of power to start.
If its flooded, I find out foot to floor while cracking it over, then the split second it starts, get off the pedal.
Do you have the car on a battery conditioner, I highly recommend you get one if you haven't already got one, especially with the winter coming up.

Plenty of power in the battery ,not flooded mate and accumate on just not firing

open the boot and on top of the tank you will find a long line of control boxes, find the ignition control box and unplug it for 20 seconds or so, plug it back in and try again to start the old girl.

They sometimes get confused and need a reset.

Tried what kev said about foot to floor and she fired up straight the way
