wheel sizes and offsets help
Discussion
Having trouble getting the right size wheel and tyres.
wheels currently have 9/19 et37 front 9.5/19 et 52 rear
with tyres 255/35r19 front and 285/30/r19 rear
1st has anyone here with an E63 put on winter wheels and tyres?
Have found some wheels with 8.5/19 et 45 front 9.5/19 et 48 with corresponding winter tyres
we think these will fit as they are 19inch and should be within a few mm of the old offsets - any wheel size experts out there??

Better off with 17s for winter?
Yes, probably. It'll make the ride much nicer too, and the tyres will be half the price.arguable if it will be a 'better ' ride when the air suspension is set to comfort even with 17's then 19s.

5 or 6mm spacers on the front and they'll fit OK. Handling should be OK unless the E63 is particularly sensitive to offset variance, which I doubt.Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
