That amply demonstrates how civilised and far distant from the race cars, the street GT3's really are. All that drive train lash at slow speed and gearbox whine etc.

Put me in mind of that earlier thread (may be 911uk, not sure?) where someone was looking to cut the noise down on a 7.1 GT3, which I thought when I read it was a little unusual?

Just what I was wondering. Any story on it Ade? It looks and sounds ace!

When the clip first started I figured it was going to be Fioran0 carrying out some testing on her majestys highway. wink

Hence the "When the clip first started", before the guy drove on the right.

mental !

they really don't like going slow, and are buggers to get off the line smoothly

Can't imagine driving mine on a road - even if it was legal!

Maybe running in a new box etc on trade plates has happen before. One the first races I did with a sequential box ( hollinger ) at the start ( on pole at Brands ) I pushed forwrd on the redlights coming on and yes you guessed it started the race in reverse.
Scary stuff fortunately no collisions and luckily the race was re-started due to another incident .

Hey guys!

Thanks for sharing and likink my video...

Driving the Cup on the road is pretty insane! I did it several times and it´s weird to see all the minivans etc. moving over if you arrive in their rear-mirrors. Also the reactions @ the local gas-station is always great! biggrin With the workshop-plates so it´s fully legal and also insured!

And yes: She was warmed up before I drove her...

If you have any questions feel free to ask!
