Cant Copy

Not that I do it, but my pc will not let me copy music cd's from CD rom, got easy cd and nero, and SP2, but both copy programs say disc is empty, tryed in both D & E drives.
Is it some type of anti-copy sh-te from micro-soft.
Please help.

Firstly delete either Easy Cd or Nero, they conflict with each other on PC's.

Then try.

Not yet, but Longhorn (the next OS) is rumoured to have such devices, then again it was rumoured to have WinFS as well

As FWD says get rid of one of those writer progs, if that doesn't work check the bleeding obvious such as the disk you are trying to write to ( not that I've picked up teh wrong CD stack before).

What actually happens when you try to copy/write...
