Well it ended yesterday after a hard, hard month. I will NEVER do that again!!! 
The idea was to force me into driving some of the other cars, especially the Esprit; the reality was I'd walk past the increasingly dusty Aston every day and feel sad that I couldn't take it to work, or to the shops, or to meet up with Mikey and Ben at Bamford Rose last week. It also made me realise that selling the cars and just keeping the Aston (with an E-Type at some point), well I won't miss them at all.
Today, I drove it to Croydon, probably even hit 22-23mph a couple of times, roof up due to a sniffling Mrs Yeti, exhaust set to quiet but by the beard of Zeus it felt GOOD!!
I don't know how you some of you guys lock them up for the winter. I will never leave my car as long again

Yeti, I understand everything you're saying but mine is now away for 3 months!!
There are a few plus points to this:-
My every day car gets to go in my garage so no need to defrost in the early morn.
The harsh winter doesn't take it's toll on the car and it doesn't get gritted whilst out and about.
When I do get the Mako beast back it actually feels like I'm collecting a new car but without the financial pain!!

Yeah, its torture. I keep sneaking down to the garage for a peek. I was just in there and noticed for the first time that I could smell the leather interior from outside the car - it was all I could do not to grab the keys and clamber inside it for a quick fix!Perhaps, we'll have a couple of nice days before Christmas and road salting when I can break it out......I sure hope so.
